KLIPs include students in LANG 295: One in a Billion, LANG: 121 Language Acquisition, and SEMN 241: Teaching for a Lifetime. Coursework is project-based and student-led. Students build connections between class content and their work in the schools and apply knowledge and experience toward developing interactive activities, lesson plans, language learning games, and structured reflection. Essential content of each course is the exploration of identity, shared experiences, and community-based knowledge-building. We explore what we are modeling in the classroom, and develop broad connections between who we are at school and how our identities contribute to leadership.
